Factors
Environmental
A variety of environmental factors contribute to the UHE. These include water levels, natural temperature (includes things like climate change) and air pollution Naturally dryer areas are more susceptibale to the UHE because they naturally have less vegetation. Temperature can drastically change the scale of the UHE with naturally hotter areas being significantly hotter. Air pollution traps solar radiation greatly increasing temperatures.
Unfortunately the UHE increases many of these factors as well, making it feed in on it self. For example the UHE increases air pollution, which is one of the factors that worsens the UHE. This makes the UHE particularly difficult to tackle as it feeds in on itself.
